Hotel Rinconada del Convento

The king suite next door #2 can be a little noisy since it faces the street. Perfect location and nice breakfast option. Don’t believe the posts of no hot water, it is tricky to find the spot and takes a minute to get hot bit all good after that.

Great hotel to relax. It has swimming pool with bar. The reception is very friendly. Our room was clean and our bathroom was big enough for two with a good shower.

I stayed in Hotel Rinconada del Convento for two nights recently. I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel is centrally located and is set up for a comfortable stay. The room was large and bright. The bed was much better than the ones I had slept on in rural Mexico. The internet worked in the bedroom, and I even had Netflix on my TV. The pool area was excellent as well. The entire was very friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel during your stay in Izamal!

There are some problems with the room... but the view worth everiting :)

An amazing location for a very small town. The way from the highway into downtown does not prepare you for this excellent location. Expect to be greatly surprised!!!!

we got a room at the very top but after 10 minutes the air conditioning broke and we were changed to a ground floor room. the window faced a corridor and the room was dark. the room was average clean. a cockroach walked over me at night and it was a bad experience

The woman on the front desk (unfortunately I didn’t catch her name) was lovely - very helpful and friendly. The location is perfect - across the road from the convent, a 5 min walk to the bus station and an easy walk to ruins sites around the town. The grounds are lovely with a nice pool, gardens, and rooftop area. The restaurant setting is also really nice, although we didn’t eat there. The room itself was quite basic, but the aircon and shower were good. Our room was very close to the street so it was quite noisy. We stayed the night of an important religious event though which probably made things extra noisy.
